Mike Jenkins Wins the World Amateur Strongman Championships
Columbus, Ohio – The inaugural Arnold Amateur Strongman Contest was won by Maryland native Mike Jenkins who won three of the seven events. Jenkins defeated a gathering of 57 of the world’s top amateur strongman athletes from 20 different countries.

Setting the Record Straight
The contest was a huge success once again with a crowd of around 60 watching 10 of the area’s best athletes trying to set and break the New Hampshire state records in the 8 inch log press, the 18 inch deadlift and the stone over a fixed height bar.
