Best Competition Lifts: Competed in Bodybuilding winning Mr. St. Louis Heavy Weight in 1991 (yeah I know it doesn’t look like itJ Competed in ADFPA for 4 or 5 years after that. Middle of the pack.
Best Standard Strongman Events: None worthy of noting, just continually improving. I guess the crowning moment is that I was the only one in the Masters, Teen, and Women’s Nationals to beat Becca Swanson in the one arm dumbbell press. I have competed about 6 times or so in strongman. Usually just deciding on a contest a week or two before hand.

Getting Started

Don’t even try if you are not in decent shape first. You will just get hurt and get turned off. As you decide that you LOVE Strongman as you will either love it or hate it, back off most of your other gym work and train events hard.

Goals

Just to continue to improve a little bit all the time and most of all to keep having fun. I have tried many iron sports and strongman is a BLAST!
